Italy Cooking Adventure: Cinque Terre, Italy Dates by arrangement 9 DAYS FOR $3,570.00* Arrive in Genoa where our group will spend the night in a luxurious hotel on the waterfront. Travel by train the next day to Cinque Terre, the five famous hill towns. For centuries these towns were accessible only by narrow footpaths or by the sea. Finally in the forties Mussolini built a railroad to Cinque Terre and today there is limited car access. Each day we will hike between the towns or take the train or a water taxi, so that we can explore this fascinating area. This is the home of Ligurian cooking (pesto, fresh seafood, troffie pasta) and Cinque Terre Wines. At night we will cook together with a local chef in this most unique destination. Also, excursions are included to Portofino and Portovenere. The tour includes Breakfast and either lunch, or dinner each day. *US$3,570 per person, airfare not included. Limited to 10 people.
